For Rose, it is easy to relinquish her estranged soulmate and slide into her new role as Cierne’s bodyguard- only for things to fly off the rails as her soulmate claims to want her back the same time her charge starts throwing tantrums. What does one do when the promise of forever doesn’t actually seem to mean anything?
